Al Hsu (pronounced "shee") is senior editor for IVP Books at InterVarsity Press, where he acquires and edits books in such areas as church, culture, mission, discipleship, and justice issues. He earned his PhD in educational studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is the author of three books, including the recently revised and expanded Grieving a Suicide. He collects Starbucks mugs, builds Lego Architecture sets, and enjoys Broadway musicals. He and his wife, Ellen, live in the Chicagoland area with their two sons.
